Summary: HORRIBLE 2010-08-23
Comment: This toothpaste is so harsh it will tear your mouth up! The first few times I brushed I noticed the skin on the inside of my mouth was peeling off. Then after a few more days it seems like there is a film inside my mouth that will not go away, and things start tasting weird. Even water tastes funny. Now I have developed sores on my tongue, cheeks, and inside my lips. I threw the rest of the can away yesterday and have gone back to Crest. Not sure how long my mouth will be a mess, but hope it goes away soon because it hurts! Seems a lot of people have this same issue with this toothpaste. Must be from the SLS..thats what im finding out anyway. Don't let the pretty little can fool you!

Summary: Toothpaste in Shaving Gel Form 2010-08-06
Comment: I saw this on sale when I was shopping one day and decided to try it since I was running low on regular tubed toothpaste. I typically am a fan of Aquafresh toothpaste in general.
After using this product for a few days, I am not impressed.
The first time I used it, it was tough to press the button to release the paste and ended up getting a good amount onto the sink rather than the toothbrush. It comes out as fast as shaving gel and it is tough to control it to land on the toothbrush. Also, similar to shaving gels, after you are done dispensing, there is a little bit of it that leaks out. If you use shaving gel from similar aerosol cans daily, you know what I'm talking about.

It was an okay brushing experience but this stuff FOAMS, A LOT.
You definitely need less with this toothpaste gel, but it's really hard to control how much goes on your toothbrush in the first place!
By the time I am done brushing, I look like I have rabies because it literally just foams in your mouth.

It does leave your mouth feeling minty and clean, but I do not think I would buy again unless they improved the dispensing mechanism and make it a bit less foamy.

Summary: Zero to hero in just a couple weeks... 2010-07-17
Comment: I originally reviewed this with 2 stars, as it left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Fast forward a couple weeks and I'm now pleased with the product. I don't notice the weird taste anymore, and it is whitening my teeth better than any Crest or other brand of whitening I have ever used... It doesn't feel abrasive at all, so rather than using polishing agents I think it is relying on oxygen or peroxide.

I am now pleased enough with the product that I will buy it again. I am leaving it now at a 4 star instead of 5 because of the terrible adjustment period that I don't think any product should have or require. I am leaving my original review below so you can see the kind of "distaste" I had for it originally...

----------------------------------------

Original title: A strange taste, texture and experience.

I was drawn to this by the dispensing and packaging having an interesting look. The first thing I noticed that was "off" was that the toothpaste leaves a taste of "stale air" in the mouth, I guess, when it turns from gel to foam. Maybe it's carbon dioxide, or some other outgassing happening during the foaming process, but it almost made me sick at first.

I've kept using it for several days and it's been not terrible to adjust to. The toothpaste is clearly less abrasive than other whitening toothpastes that have polishers in them, but that being said, the toothpaste seems to be making my teeth temperature sensitive like Crest White Strips do.

If you're adventurous and have to know what this toothpaste is about, it probably won't make you vomit, but otherwise it's kinda strange and in need some some further refinement.

Summary: The worst toothpaste I've ever tried 2010-04-28
Comment: It's basically shaving cream. You put it on your toothbrush and it's a gel, then you start brushing and it turns into a thick foam and TASTES and FEELS exactly like shaving cream. I almost threw up while brushing my teeth with it, it felt wrong, it IS wrong. I checked the ingredients.......it contains soap. No wonder it foams. I cannot believe they put this toothpaste on the market. My mouth does not feel clean, it feels violated.

Summary: Didn't like this stuff 2010-03-17
Comment: I tried the Sensodyne in this new tube type ISO Active stuff and loved it. My teeth are sensetive, but I can still use regular paste so I tried out this flavor. I read some reviews on how good it is but I hated the taste of it. One person said it tasted like shaving cream and I should have believed them. It does leave that taste in your mouth like you got too much cream on your face and some gets in your mouth. Not a good taste and it didn't work that well I don't think. Anyways, I wouldn't recommend this style but the Sensodyne in this same shape is awesome.
