I was having trouble, with sore gums and a mouth that didn't feel well. I bought and am using Bert's Bees Natural Toothpaste, I chose the Multicare flavored with Spearmint. It is a gel.

Not a lot of foaming, but it is Amazing Toothpaste, very nice taste, and my gums, only after several brushings, started to feel better. My mouth feels clean, and no more gum problems. I will only use Bert's Bees. I will never go back to another kind of toothpaste ever.

I got this toothpaste because it is SLS-free, however, I did not realize until I ordered it that it did contain fluoride, which many people do not know is VERY bad for you. I have poor eyesight and the picture is very small where it shows "Fluoride Toothpaste." It definitely gives your mouth a clean feel but it doesn't brush on very smooth like a paste, it is more like a gel.
