Comment: I have used the milder 15% concentration of Opalescence without a problem, but the 35% solution burned my gums within minutes of its use. I'll need to order the product sold for sensitive gums, or a lower concentrated version next time.

Comment: I tried Watson's 35% carbamide-peroxide and it seemed to work. Once I ran out, I switched over to this brand. OMG. This stuff is super strong and you have to be very careful. I thought it was going to be "mild" like Watson's and I was pretty liberal in applying it not thinking it was going to hurt or cause any "damage". I ended up with a burned bleach mark on my lower lip. (Note: Watson's provides more ounces of gel per tube than Opalescence)

I'm the type that likes to try all the products out, and if you're looking for the strongest bleaching agent, then this is it. But if you are really sensitive to bleaching, you probably should go with another brand or one with a lower percentage of carbamide-peroxide.

What one reviewer said about using a tray is true. You have to use a tray with this brand's carbamide-peroxide because if not you will severely burn your mouth.

Overall, my teach are much whiter, and it didn't cause any long-lasting sensitivity. But remember, use caution because you don't want to end up with a burned white mark on your lip (it went away after an hour).

Comment: Initially I was given the Opalescence 10% Teeth Whitening from my dentist along with custom molds that he made for me. They worked great over the weeks that I was doing my routine. Years later my teeth starting to fade back I decided that I should whiten again, I found this product which was the same brand and a lower cost then my dentist had given me and the potency was way higher which I figured what can be wrong with that. Immediately I noticed that my gums along with my teeth were turning white and also I had slight bleeding along the gum line... but man my teeth were white so its a trade-up but I definately do not have sensitive teeth and/or gums and this happened to me.

Comment: I use the 15% for 6-8 hours over night while I sleep. I brush teeth before & after use. Only use a small dot in each tooth area on the tray. I do not smoke or drink coffee/soda regularly and my teeth are the whitest they have ever been. I love this product. My teeth do not get very sensitive but my husbands do, so I guess some people are more prone to sensitivity than others. I recommend this product highly, but start with an hour at first to see how your teeth feel for the day after treatment. Good luck
